Crossing the Doldrums
A follow up to Jupiter’s Storm, these two experimental electronica tracks were inspired by the equatorial waters of the Pacific Ocean—an eery place of unusually calm water and still air nicknamed “The Doldrums” by some of the earliest mariners in these waters.

Jupiter’s Storm
This 5-song EP includes the first in a series of songs inspired by Angel Black Orchid’s sailing voyage off the coast of California and Mexico. Inspired by the star-filled skies during an overnight passage, Jupiter’s storm is Angel Black Orchid’s feelings of awe and wonderment experienced on the open sea far from civilization.

Hurricane
A mostly live track featuring Angie Donkin on guitar and vocals and good friend and bandmate from Angie’s former band Vibrasol, Jay Golden, on violin. Both performances were separately recorded live and in a single take with no edits, allowing Angie to preserve the sound’s acoustic rawness.
